Hi Mit - fine looking bird, in normal circumstances the angle of light here is not flattering with half your bird in sunlight and half in shade - do see what you were attempting to capture.
I think for this one to really work that reflection had to be a lot stronger - the ripples on the water have made the eye in the reflection difficult to see - I think that if that reflection had of been clear and sharp it would have worked much better.

I like the base image...agree with Mr. Peters on his fine assessment. I would have liked to have seen a better head angle. The eye is dark and needs a little lightening also might want to run some noise reduction in the background...:cool:
Agree with suggestions !!! btw if you get a perfect reflection and strong harsh light ... go after the reflection only and forget the bird !! Works :)
