The majority of Australian mamals are nocturnal and can only be seen by looking in the right habitats with the aid of a pair of good ears and a relatively good light. I was fortunate enough to witness this stunning small glider the other evening in one of the best night spots west of Sydney.

Hi Akos, I really like your comp. These are truly difficult creatures to photograph and I think you did a good job of it. I have tried it with very poor results. I made a few selective levels changes to bring more attention to the Sugar Glider and less on the tree trunk. I also cropped the black sliver along the RE as my eye was distracted by it. Hope you like it. - John

Cute little guy. Always interesting to go out at night and see what's around. I like John's subtle repost.

    Akos,
Cute fellow. The repost looks better. Cropping the hint of bg on the right also helped.

Interesting little guy. Johns repost looks good, I might take a little off the left to take just a little off center.

Akos, great sighting, and good eyes from your part. Its always great to see the mammals of the night. Great eye contact, and love the little feet holding on.
