I thought to add a little extra to this image, I waited for him to show his tongue. These guys have extremely long and hardy tongues, as they are used to pull the leaves off the tree tops.

I did a double take and kept looking for his tongue for a while until I found it :)
Very cute.Wish you had a better light angle, but since the side light is soft, its not too bad.
Thanks for sharing this one, Stuart.

An interesting pose, Stuart. That tongue sure blends in - I didn't spot it at first. :) Nice comp, sharpness, and head angle. Maybe try lightening the eye a bit?

Not great light, but well captured action. :) Well done Stuart.

I like the image a lot. The tongue is great! I would consider lightening the eye a bit.

Double take here too. I thought his face looked a little unusual :). Nice portrait with good detail. I agree with a slight lightening of the eye but only on the bottom where there's a hint of lighter color.

    Stuart,
I agree with you. The tongue adds interest to the image. Lot of details in the image.

    Cheers,

The tongue got me too. Agree about the light direction but you made a interesting image in spite of it.
