    Dear All

    Taken all suggations and to try those went to lake in city. ( Ref link http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...ad.php?t=37896 )
    Found this pheasant Tail jacana ,
    Would like to know about whites & overall
    Taken with D300/600MM, F4/ at F4 , ISO 400, 1/3200 of sec

    C & C most welcome

    PS , So many people suggested me to go above ISO 200 on my D300, would like to know about noise also, NR not applied

    Hi Harshad. The whites look good to me here, it looks like there is detail in them! The bright spots in the BG could be cloned out though. Very cool bird!:)

    Hi - Whites are in check - Jut use your over exposure blinkies and your histogram, However some of your blacks are blocked - once again the histogram is your friend.
    With black and white birds the key is SOFT LIGHT - otherwise the dynamic range is just to great.
    The OOF foreground elements are a little distracting, as are the couple of hot spots in the background.

    Like the low shooting angle and the noise looks fine.
    Looking forward to seeing more :)

    I like the capture...your whites are within range, the blacks however are lacking details...looking forward to your next one...keep them coming...:cool:
