    Caught this little Black-chinned at Madera Kubo B&B yesterday

    I love everything about this. The eye is terrific and the sphere under the bird "grounds" the bird image balances it nicely. Choosing background colours (note Cdn. spelling) must have been a challenge but I think you nailed it. Someday I hope to be able to do stuff like this. Stuart

    Thanks, Stuart, I too spell colour that way as I was born in Vancouver, 1924, though I have lived in Calif, Hawaii & Arizona for the last 49 years with all of my 50+ relatives still in Beautiful B.C. . . . eh!

    Gus, I love the color tones and feel to this one. The angled brush strokes are a perfect touch!
