    Great light, BG and eye contact. The back of the bird looks a bit noisy and I would tone down the bright parts of the perch.

    Stephen, Rietvlei produces again. I just love these guys. Super pose, sharp, with good detail, and overall, the colours on the chat and BG are just great. You have brought out the eye very well too. Great capture.

    Fantastic BG and beautiful colours in this image, Stephen. Good pose and feather textures. Shadow noise is the only real issue for me. Fill flash would have been the choice to reduce contrast and record more info from these areas. +EC would have blown the perch and lightened the BG so probably wasn't an option.

    Very nice Stephen! Great perch, pose, and BG. I'm not too bothered by the shadow noise because my eye is drawn to the strong aspects of the image. I would tone down the hot areas of the perch.

    WOW! I liked the background a lot. one of the best that you can get. A couple of degrees of clockwise rotation might make it even better.
