    Hi Bill, nice subject and I like the open bill :) but the side lighting doesnt work for me as detail seems to have been lost on the shadow side of the bird. If he is always there it may be worth going back when the lighting is more even.

    The bird looks a bit soft but I Iike the pose and the bg`s color!!!

    I agree with Tell in that the side lighting doesn't work with this one. The BG is good. I'd definitely try again for this one and see if you can get a different angle on him. There's a lot of beautiful detail in those blacks given the right light.
