    The 2009 model Bison are in at Yellowstone. This little one was just delivered to the showroom. If you look closely you can see some umbilical cord still hanging. It was a cold, wet, gray day but the light under those conditions is perfect for wildlife and they are on the move throughout the park.

    50D, EF70-200mm f/2.8L @ 200mm
    Aperture priority, f/5.6@1/400, ISO 200
    Evaluative mode, EC -2/3, AI servo focus, HH no flash

    Hi Kerry = hope you are enjoying your time there - nice new model you have there. Love the colours and the details, think I would crop some from the top to move the eye up into the top third of the frame(ROT).

    Good job - looking forward to seeing more :)

    Kerry, that's one cute bison calf! Like the soft light. I agree that it could use a little bit of a crop, but can't decide whether it would be better to crop from the top or the bottom. Personally I think either one would work. Might even want to try cropping a bit from both to make it more of a pano format. Well done!

    I would crop from the bottom....The OOF grass is a distraction for me. That is one fine calf though, nice job.....

    kerry, you are killing me!!! wished i was there. aside from the flat light, which you couldnt do anything about, this is great. the 09's are looking good!!!

    I like it Kerry !!! For these try moving left right to avoid merges with trees coming out of the back will always help !! Do like the feet position and nice head turn !! Looking just gives you a good feeling !!! Looking forward to many more !!!
