    ISO 400
    f/5.6 @ 1/250
    For some reason, the bird ignored my instruction to stop moving its head! Not really enough light to shoot any faster so this is what I got, a bit of blur on the bill.

    Don't be mad. They do that to eveybody. You got him anyway :)

    I think this image looks pretty good. I would add a bit more sharpening...the eye, the beak. Good eye contact there. Like the light...or whatever it was there :D

    Oh, if you shot with ISO800, you could get 1/500s.

    HI - Exposure looks good - Like the HA and the eye contact - agree with Desmond a little more sharpening and a good point about the ISO. Feels a little tight on the left hand side for my tastes.

    Good point, when the ISO is doubled you get an extra stop of light.

    Hi Stephen,
    I like the capture and composition...you have sharp details and good color rendition...I would suggest on adding a little canvas on the left side of the frame...:cool:

    Great advice on raising the ISO Remember .... sharp beats noise every time !!!
