I can see why you keep looking back at it. It is intriguing, but as posted, I think the perch is too much for the bird. I would be inclined to crop it to a vertical, come in a bit from the left, and then adjust the right side to taste. Another vertical option could be to come up above the horizontal branch, giving the bird more impact in the frame.
The bird itself is nice. It looks like a bit of a halo around the tail, but minor. Lovely background.
I liek the OP very much, I like these type of images, they work very nice for me, maybe they don't pop out much in web, but for a large print it will sure have more impact. Congratulations!
What a lovely image you present us today!
Love it 100%.
I agree with Randy about the pano crop since the branch itself is not your main subject here. I would crop right where the vertical branch begins.
Hi Steve, I like this lots. I think your original comp works very well, with good placement of the RWBB. Stunning light and colours, sharp, with good detail. Great image.
Hi Steve. I like the comp of the original version a lot though the repost makes a good alternate. I also like the overall color tones, the even light, the placement of the bird in the frame, and the background (though on my monitor I am seeing some noise in the background). Well done.
