He gave me an inquisitive look before turning around and going his way. The slow had a bluish cast that I changed to warmer because I feel it goes more with the scene and the color scheme of the subject. Yellowstone. Cropped to pano for composition. Minor clean up in the snow.

    Fabs,

Sweet image, love the stare. Use the Blur tool set to darken mode w/ lower opacity to reduce the white sharpening effect around nose and eyes.

    Best,

    Chas

Your Yellowstone images are so incredible. I've never had a series of images make me want to visit more than yours. Another fantastic image......looks so much like a painting.

    Hi Fabs,
I see what Chas is talking about (nice tip!!!).....but an easy tweak for you. This one has just taken over first place as my favorite image of yours! This is simply stunning!!! I always recommend a thin black border around an image like this.....just because of our BG color......but that doesn't affect this one's impact. Great job on the coyote placement in frame, soft FG grasses and softly textured BG....al just come together. Bravo!!!

yes yes yes, love this one....would put it on my wall any day.
I can feel my presence there and the presence of the wolf/habitat here, that makes it a success.

    well done IMO

Hey Fabs, A truly wonderful image. To me this image really stands out due to the composition, color and the subtle interest in the backround. I like the warmer feel and pano crop.. Well done!!

For a lack of finding better words, I choose to say I echo Romans statement! This is a wall hanger in all regards IMHO!

    Hi Fabs,
I like the downward slope of the ground and the look of the coyote. Nice choice to warm it up a bit as it brings out the color of the dried grasses nicely while still retaining the feel of winter. Appearance blurs the line between photograph and painting, a nice thing in my eyes.

Fabs, super comp, and I just love the mood in this. Great eye contact from the Coyote, and you have exposed this perfectly. Congrats on an outstanding image.

    Hi Fabs,
I like the composition and the overall feel of the image. I am wondering how it would appear with the bluish colour that is normally picked up by snow. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,

This is a really emotional, powerful image to me, Fabs.

Besides its wonderful composition, technical excellence and scenic splendor, it conveys a sense that the coyote is trying to express regret at leaving, as it knows it must.

You've captured one of those rare, beautiful moments in nature. Thanks much for sharing it.

Sweet image, really like the composition, and the pano crop works well here. Definately a wall hanger...

Very, very appealing image Fabs. I really like the simplicity and the added detail by the soft grasses in the front. This is really a stunner! :)
