    More Speed, MOM!!!!

    Attached Images Attached Images

Can you hear the young Mute Swan yelling?
"More Speed Mom.... that's such a big fun!!!"...

Well, you know, I like to take images, that put a smile on ones face... with mine (face), it works :), what about you?
Took the image at Abbotsbury Swannery in South England where masses of noncaptive Mute Swans are actually breeding.

It did put a smile on mine! I LOVED this one. I wiuld suggest to tone down the whites and to give some blur to the BG, but I did love it, almost too cute! Congratulations!

Sweet image, Rosl. Love the way you've composed this to tell the story. I might consider taking most of the blue off the top.

This little one has the best seat on this ride. Absolutely darling!! Your detail in the whites is excellent. Well done....and it did put a smile on my face.

Great sighting, and you have exposed the whites very well. Lovely detail from mom's feathers.

I like it a lot Rosl, it made me :) Abbotsbury Swannery is the only place in the UK where Swans freely nest/breed communally, it is an amazing place :)

Hi Tony, great to hear this; do you know where Abbotsbury is located?
Light was harsh and from the wrong direction in most parts of the area, but I had no other choice with the time of the day, I've been there from 10 to 2, Afternoon should be better, but I had to get the plane back home... Took some pictures of Black Swans too, 4 - 5 of them are actually there.

I've just looked up their website, Rosl. May book night nearby. We have some friends with a trout fishery with a couple of swans but this option looks a bit different. Black swans are from Australia and NZ so they are almost in pest proportions in places here while the white ones look very exotic as theya re quite rare here!
