Kind of a weird scenario as it was drizzling, humid and yet the sun was out and the bird was in shade, yet it's bill caught the glint of the sun from the left.

    Jim:
Another winner. Lovely light, vivid colors, the yellow and reds special.
Great HA for this pose, DOF, BG.

My only wish would be for no branch behind the tail, but that is really being picky. Ok, one more. Because the leaves are so centrally placed, I might tone them down just a bit so as not to compete with the bird.

Excellent! You are on a roll.

    Jim,
I agree, a fine image, with nice detail showing on a bird that is hard to make look really sharp. I wonder how it would look with the left side cropped in a bit, to near the edge of the large bunch of leaves? Thanks for sharing this appealing image.

Beautiful bird. I love seeing the shading of the feathers on his back.
Darkening the leaves just a bit would help focus more attention on that lovely bird.

Jim, lovely looking bird, and I like the softer colours on him. Super pose, and I like the inclusion of the foliage. Your repost has turned out nicely.

Fantastic pose and BG is a big plus

You might want to run a bit of selective sharpening on the face as the way it looks here the focus is on the wings and the front leaves
face looks a bit softer than the rest
