    Default Purple Lilac

Did some more experimenting with the technique of having some flowers in between the camera and the blossom I'm photographing. Here, since there were no blossoms in the right place to create the effect, I picked a lilac blossom and held it just in front of the camera. Any C&C are welcome!

Great results. Next time, try to hold it over the whole bloom to veil the total image. It may look awesome!

Thanks Fabs. Awhile back I had posted a shot of apple blossoms using this same technique, and some had suggested having a little less softness so that's what I was trying to do here. Will try your suggestion though when I can!

Hey Chris it's a great technique that works well here.

I'd love to see it with the same degree of softness throughout the entire plant, Christopher. Right in the middle of this one is perfection!
