    Default Covered Bridge

Bogart's Bridge, Little Lehigh Parkway, Allentown, Pa. Image made this morning.

Images were made using a Canon 30D and 24-70mm f/2.8L lens, tripod mounted.

This is an HDR Composite of five images made with Photomatix software.

The base image was made at: 1/80 sec @ f/11; ISO 100; 0 EV. The other four images were at -2, -1, +1, and +2 EV.

Very nice framing with the trees on the side and the calm reflection adds a lot.

HDR processing looks very well done. The blue sky looks maybe a bit too bold/rich in color but otherwise it looks natural. Definitely a case where a blue sky sunny day works. The simple color scheme makes it all pop better. I think the comp couldbe better without the right branches blocking and maybe no the lower left piece of land, but not sure if that would be possible. Still an eye-catching image.

    Hey Ed,
HDR did turn out very good. I am debating the RH side and lower angle too.....but it still really pops off the screen with the colors. Nice job on the window placement too. There's a few whitish hot spots in the URC.....wondering if that is what is grabbing my eye there....but still nicely composed.
