    Only 500 more to go!

From my backyard this morning. I was disappointed when I saw how worn the plumage was after I opened the file on the computer.

Congratulations on the 500 posts! Lovely image to celebrate it! I like the comp, the light, pose, detail, BG, exposure and colors, perch is very nice as well! Congratulations!

Congratulations, Aidan. The leaves on the perch really add to the image. Keep up the good work.

Congratulations on your milestone! You picked a very nice one for the occasion, the perch adds a lot and the soft colors too.

I would not choose to be disappointed with a lovely image. All the techs are perfect as is the HA. And the subject is rather handsome.

Did you set up the perch?

Artie: let me reword that: I was not quite as happy when I saw the worn plumage, but was still pleased.

Thanks Aiden, The perch is almost perfect. The scar of the torn off branch lower right is a big no-no... Be more careful. Best to learn to love what is: www.thework.com

Aiden, congrats on your 500th. Lovely pose, and nicely framed between the two leaves. Great OOF BG too.

Nice milestone. Congrats. Keep them sending. Nits mentioned. I still see some pink cast.
