I made this image on Long Island in late March where I met Grace. Maybe you remember her post with the snowy owl and squirrel in front of it: http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...ad.php?t=33325

I missed the image of the owl and the squirrel so thanks for posting the link. It is an amazing image and this one it is too. Very well seen.
PS. Well, I hope that there was someone at your back taking photograph because the next one we want to see is an image of you photographing Grace while she is photographing the owl and the squirrel :-D
I always love candid shots like this-has a real good feel to it!
Axel, You caught my best side. LOL That was a fun morning.
Do Remember Axel !!! Cool !!!
Is that an incident light meter that she was using?
I thought I was the only one.
... would be cool to paste the original owl on this one :)
Grace:
I am curious how you have your meter mounted on your rig?
Thanks
Randy
Lovely picture Axel, maybe next year I'll jump on a Jet Blue if Owl is around!
Randy, my friend, Jim Galletto, makes these little contraptions that wrap around my whimberly head, I leave the meter on it all the time. If you're interested in one, pm me and I'll put you in touch with him.
Fabs, the owls seem to be cyclical, arriving in good numbers every five or so years. This past winter, we were able to find at least one every time we went to the beach. Usually, there are are fewer.
When they come back, you all have a place to stay. We'll make it a party. :)
