Magnolia warblers move through Grand Isle late in the migration season. A heavy storm also rained down a number of these warblers along with an estimated 300 American redstarts in the coastal woods. I do have several photos of these birds unobstructed by leaves but I like this photo of this small bird in large poison ivy leaves and recent discussion about photos of birds in habitat encouraged me to post this here.

Comments and critique welcome and appreciated.

I like the angle, eye contact and BG. The perch is potentially great but I would prefer to see more of the bird and am interested to see other images made in this series. I would try to get more details in the blacks and the sharpening of the tail looks unusual, there is some kind of pattern, also on the leaf in front of the tail.
