Colours are great and stand out well against the dark BG. Prey is good - a slight head turn toward you would have been a little nicer. I would burn in the perch a bit to darken it - especially toward the right side. Great sharpness for 1/60s.

    SC:

Lovely bird. Tony gave you a good critique. There is a little noise in the background which you might want to clean up.

Lovely bird and great colour against a very nice BG. Always a huge bonus to have a food item. Agree with Tony and Randy's comments. I would add another soft round of sharpening to the eye area.

I've never seen this beautiful species before. You did a great job with exposure and sharpness. The bug is a big plus. I agree about toning down the perch, and I might darken the pupil a little.

Perch feels a little too big for this little bird, but I love this image despite that, the pose, light, colores, sepcies, dark BG and detail are weasome, the worm is a big plus! Congratulations!

Beautiful bird, I don't think I've seen an image of this species before. I like the eye contact and the food item adds to it. The perch is a bit large and I agree regarding NR on the BG. Keep them coming!
