Went out looking for Bobolinks this morning. He has a somewhat of a horizontal perch and the tail is out of focus even with f/8. Comments welcome. Thanks for looking.

Hi Filomina, very nice photo with good exposure control and lovely bg, its just a bit to central for me and I would crop some off the right hand side for balance.

I like the soft light, eye contact and BG. I would sharpen the bird more, crop a bit off the top and add canvas on the left to get the bird out of the center.

    Axel,

Here is the repost of your suggestions. Thank you. Cool name by the way. It was on our list for boys.

The repost looks much better. I just noticed that there is a dust spot below the tail.

Maybe it's a good idea that you chose a different name. Many people have trouble spelling it. :)

Excellent repost, wish you had taken a step to your left, to place the bird on the right and keep the end of the branch. Well done!

VG exposure and bg. Since I have been failing to get this close to one for a few days I like the subject a lot.
