Overexposed on purpose, very loosely focused. Nik Color Effex Duplex filter applid at very low opacity.

I like the feel of this image and the soft colors. For my taste, it needs just a little more something--color, definition?

Fabs, I have to ask...how are you getting such a diffused look? Are you using a particular blend mode or what? These are really lovely.

I do agree with Anita...I want just a hair more definition or punch. Very slight...just a touch more. Beautiful colors and the BG and overall feel is exquisite!

Thanks, guys. Overexposing grossly kills a lot of definition is you work wide open. I used a filter called Duplex, from Nik Color Effex Complete, that has a metallic cast. I'm experimenting in using colors and shapes to convey a feel rather than using definition. Have a whole series and of course, a series in my newly acquired f/32 techniques :)

That was a great motif, you changed the way some uf us look at the small world!

    Hi Fabs,
Agree about a bit more punch.....but I'm sure you played around with that one. I went to the other end today (go figure).....will post in a few minutes. I'm having fun too trying many different approaches. Have to sharpen that f3.5 side myself ....just playing catch-up!
