    Default Chihuahua from "El Palomar"

View from "El Palomar" in Chihuahua, Chihuahua México
Longhorn sculpture in bronze by Ricardo Ponzanelli. Historically, longhorn cattle in the Americas date back to 1521, when Gregorio de Villalobos was sent as viceroy to New Spain and brought a number of calves with him.
Longhorns gave Chihuahua its fame as cattle state.

    Lady Mirenchu,
I like the wide angle perspective with the bull looking towards the city of Chihuahua. The evening colors sets of the sculpture very nicely...thanks for sharing the informative story...looking forward to you next one...:)
