Note: This is a double exposure consisting of four frames, with a variance in the use of three aperture disks. Aperture disks of f/2.0 - f/4.0 - f/5.6 were used to achieve a layered depth of field matrix. The saturation level was kicked up a notch to compliment the title…:)
This exotic lady was painted with a Nikon D3, using a Lensbaby Composer, with a +10 macro lens attachment.
Image solution: focal length about +/- 50mm / exposure mode @ manual / combination of in camera matrix metering and hand held spot meter, sampling four anchor points for even light distribution. / shutter speed @ 1/125sec. / ISO @ 320 / white balance @ custom profile using Expo disc for color balance / color space @ sRGB / AF - mode @ manual / lighting solution - used two speedlights with attached diffusers ; each @ 60 degree angles; speedlights were powered down to 1/4 lumen burst on manual mode, each one behind additional diffuser panels. / exposure comp @ 0EV / tone comp @ +2 degrees / hue adjustment @ +2 degrees / saturation factor @ +3 degrees / support platform - tripod assist - using macro focusing rail / remote electronic trigger release /
Neat looking image Gus I like it even better without the darker top part !!! Like your experiments and no telling what you will come up with now that you got a D3 at hand !!!
