    Bob,
This is a lovely animal. I like the composition and the expression in its face. It is sharp and nice. I wish less of sky were visible as the sky is burnt. This scene needed some fill flash. I would love to photograph these fellows. Last time missed them.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

    Sabyasachi,

Thanks for the comment, the shot is absolutely 100% full frame and was taken from a small canoe in a large river, in fact we had not seen any other human for around an hour & a half. This monkey appeared human size high in the trees.

    Bob,
Were you handholding or using a tripod or monopod? Am planning a trip next year there.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

It was handheld and there were just 3 of us in the canoe, actually the shot was heavily underexposed but I was able to pull it back in Photoshop. Great fun but a bit scary as there was thunder and lightning around from a tropical storm. Actually a monpod may have been useless as I was pointed up most of the time.

Beautiful animal, and I'm with Sabyasachi in not wanting so much sky, but I guess you were inn no position to do otherwise.
Big welcome to BPN, and keep them coming!

Lovely looking monkey, and I like the colour and detail on him.
