Welcome Kiran, a very dramatic first post you have here. Them eyes can sure burn a hole at whatever it had them on! It would be good to give some exif data with your post as well.

The BG is creamy smooth. I would prefer a bit more space to the left of the subject that is sharp with good eye contact.

    Welcome to BPN Kiran

Nice image to start with, No nits at all. EXIF data will help everyone to critique. But I would have prefered 2 to 21/2 inches more space at tail :D

    regards

Welcome to BPN, Kiran! Great first post, I like the light, details, pose and BG. As mentioned more room left and maybe bottom would be good and there are a few dust spots in the BG. Keep them coming, and yes, please post the techs.

Welcome aboard Kiran! Beautiful first post to share with us. More room mentioned, but the rest looks great. Nice exposure, and beautiful BG. I'm just nor crazy about the perch end, but at least the foot covers most of it.

Welcome here. Great shot. Super light and exposure. Ditto space. Did you clone something out or do some selctive work by the beak on his back....reasone I ask is that I see a black halo in that area. Use the feather tool to not get it next time. Looking forward to more from you

Thank you all for your kind words of encouragement. Will keep in mind about the space next time. I just wanted to make a bold frame out of it.

Dear Kobus, I think the black halo is because of the noise cleaning of the BG. I have also cloned an extra branch.

    Thanks Again.

Good to have you here on BPN! Stunning first post! Love the sharpness and eye contact. A little more room on the left would be nice, and as Axel mentioned there are a couple of dust spots on the sensor. Look forward to more of your images.

    Welcome to BPN Kiran.
Simply Amazing!! I liked this picture very much for its sharpness, birds expression and the smooth BG.
As suggested above, I would remove some of the dust spot.
    Congratulations!!

Kiran wellcome on board. Good advise above. Superb BG, sharpness and light. I do not mind about the lack of a direct eye contact, in fact I like a lot the head angle and the bird looking towards something outside the frame. With this image it is very easy to add more room at the left side if that is Ok with your ethics, of course. Very, very good job and keep them coming ;-)
