    This time in the afternoon. Wish the perch was a tad smaller, but they only like to land on this one.

    50D, 100-400 at 330mm
    1/800, f/6.3, ISO 250
    Tripod, Blind, moderate crop

    Well, if you are going to have a bigger perch, you might as well have an interesting one, and this one is.
    I might tone down the brightness a bit so it doesn't out compete the bird.

    Your bird is sharp, nice angle in frame and good composition. There is a little noise in the darker areas of the background, not too noticeable.

    I agree about the interesting perch. I also like the comp, pose, sharpness and background. Well done.

    I would suggesto that you give the whole thing another round of USM, still, great pose, lovely light, BG, nice perch, detail and exppsure! Congratulations!

    Excellent composition. Very sharp with great eye contact and catch light.
