    A different direction - but stately for the King Bird!

    Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/1250)
    Aperture: f/4.5
    Focal Length: 420 mm - 300 2.8 + 1.4 ext.
    Exposure: 0.00
    ISO Speed: 160
    Exposure Bias: 0 EV
    Flash: Off

    Hi Natalie

    Good base image and can do some tweaks !!!

    Would crop a bit so the bird is more to the left ... you need more room from the beak to edge than rear end to back of frame. I think your point of focus is on the shoulder rather than the eye.

    Look wise sure wish it was more to the film plane does make a difference !!!

    PP wise you can select the bg and apply some Gaussian blur it make the bg look smoother. We have some tutorials on how to do it If you need help please PM !!!

    Hi Natalie,
    I like the base capture...agree with Mr. Forns on the techs. the face and eye is a little on the soft side, would recommend on selective sharpening...looking forward to your next one...:cool:

    Thanks Alfred and Gus. Great ideas and will try them. There is certainly more room for me to re crop more to the right.
