I like it Lady Denise, it has a good feel to it, love the soft pastel abstract with the high-key background...:)

    Hey Denise,
Really liking the way this turned out! I have to try this...but in camera.....hey....you never know! I am debating the green border...yeah I know it's the contrasting color and generally I don't comment on them and ignore it.....but your star is definitely the flower and your comp......so I wouldn't risk the green border and just go with the thin black one.....but let's see what others chime in. Any way you look at it....this is very strong and well done!
PS Just double checked and saw that it is a PP blur....so you may want to add canvas to get the blur in W/O touching edges. Just a thought to play with.

Roman, I'm usually not a fan of borders but we have been doing an Asian Theme in OOTB this week and this was originally created for that theme-but I decided it didn't have enough Asian Flair to qualify!! I have been studying Tony Sweet's work and I love the way his blurs fade off the page and I was trying to recreate that look.-Thankyou for taking the time to help.

Hi Denise - I am with roman on this one - border doesn't do anything for me personally and agree that more space all around might be good. Love the effect and the high key BG - Simple and stunning :)

    Hi dennise:

IMHO, one of your best, it is a lovely blend of artistry and skill and getting rid of black line in border made an amazing difference.

I'm not familiar with PP blur, and a search of google came up with this
    http://allbiz.smugmug.com/popular/6/...75488633_cLxXe
where photographer was asked if it was a PP Blur, and she replied how she
obtained the blur not mentioning if it was a PP Blur.

Thanks for sharing your lovely creation

    Very inspiring

Gus, Thankyou very much. :)This was done using asst. filters , also layers and blending modes in Photoshop-along w/ selective opacity and de-saturation. I have used this technique alot and it varies from image to image-hope this helps.
