    This parrot was playing games with me a while ago. There was a chill in the air and he seemed to be bundling up. Guess it's a Florida thing.

    Canon EOS- 1D, EF 500 f/ 4.0 L lens, BB with 550 EX flash. My exposure was 1/ 125 sec. @ f/ 5.6 ISO 200.

    Pose, colors and eye contact look good. I wish for a more even BG and would run NR on the BG. I would give it a tad more space at the bottom because the one feather wouldn't be clipped that way.

    Ditto Axel plus you did a great job of handling the REDs. I love the pose and the eye peeking out.

    Charles:

    Very cute pose, coy! As Artie mentioned, reds are well done. I did notice a few blown pixels in the reds right along the upper most edge of the feathers, and a few blown pixels in the whites, but I had to check in NX2 to be sure. I would be happy to have that exposure. The slightest lowering of contrast would probably tame those, but it is very nice as presented.
