    Second version is brighter with a little more H/S. I believe it comes to life more.

    Other than distracting twigs in at the bottom, I like this image. Was there a possibility of moving to the right to avoid them?

    The repost looks better, I like the attentive pose. Fill flash might have helped here. There is some banding in the BG and I would run some NR.
