The same day I took my f/32 image, I couldn't resist the urge to go wide. Simple and experimental, what to do you think? The flower is looking out of the picture because it is SHY :)

I really like this one Fabs! What I like about it most is the colors. I am very partial to pastels and earthy type tones and this one sure fits the bill.

Fabs, The pastel color tones make this special-I think the title is very fitting!

Wow, the colors are gorgeous though I would have liked to have seen a bit more sharpness in the unopened flower. The unusual composition works for me. Beautiful.

Fantastic colors and a different but very good comp.
I think I'd prefer the flower a tad more sharp, though.

The BG is great with some subtle & lovely colours. As far as the placement of the bud goes, I might have preferred it a bit (just a little bit) further inside (i.e. to the right). The angle & tilt of the bud will still represent looking away/out of the frame.

Beautiful BG, Fabs. I agree with Richard, though...I would like to see a bit more definition in the flower.

Really nice here Fabs on the tones and softness. You and Jules are making me nuts with the shallow DOF images!!! I am seriously struggling with that end of the lens. I am trying though.....alas with not much success!
