    Wolly:

    Your woodpecker is sharp and well exposed, but he tends to get lost in the mass of the tree. More of a head turn towards us would help also.

    You might consider cropping down from the top to at least the bottom of the brown patch, and in from the right side a little to reduce the impact of the bright trunk. You could also tone down the brightness of the trunk to the right.

    i would prefer a bit more head turn,otherwise a nice image!

    The biggest problem here has nothing to do with head turn; it has to go with choice of perspective. Wolly needed to move well to his right so that the imaging sesor was parallel to the woodpecker, in other words, he needed to be 90 degrees to the nest hole, not looking right at it. This would have also given him a good light angle as the light is from the right.

    The cropped version is however, an improvement.
