Tell- It certainly works for me. I love the dreamy feel provided by the haze and colour temp, and I like the layering effect. The only thing I might try is an alternative rendition where the image is rotated CCW to level things up.
I like it although I might crop off a little bit more at the top.
Let's talk about John's comments about "leveling things up".
I've been to Bosque several times and darned if I can remember a distant hill or mountain area that presents as level when I'm standing there looking at it?
I hear Jim about the hills but the eye feels tricked and uncomfortable with a lopsided hill.
I like the original color, though, foggy is foggy and blacks get washed out.
It works for me.
I prefer Axel's repost, but the winning image here would be to have pointed the camera down quite a bit, perhaps enough to include all of the bushes while placing the birds near the top 1/3 or 1/4 of the frame.... As captured, the COMP is terribly unbalanced.
