    Dear All

Taken at Bandhavgarh National Park , Madhya Pradesh , India around 4.15 PM.
This buddy was sleeping there in grass and was disturbed by flies. Was looking at langoor who was busy in making alarm calls
Taken with NikonD300/Nikon600MM VRII/Manfrotto Tripod at ISO 200

Hope you all are not getting bored with Tiger images from me

    C & C most welcome & appreciated

    Thanks
    Harshad

Harshad, the thumbnail doesnt do this justice. I like the lazy pose, great eye contact, and the light cast over the head is stunning. I would maybe crop at the bottom to lose the yellow part of the grass. I dont believe it will weaken your comp. Just a thought.

Hmmmm, I like the original better because it's more balanced regarding the size of the tiger in relation to the size of the frame. I also feel it iluminated the whole image with the gold OOF grass.

Harshad, I would consider a different crop. I would crop out all of yellow grass on the bottom and most of it on the top. While not the normal format, I think the length of the tiger lends itself to a long short format, which will elimate the distraction of the OOF grass. Sometimes OOF works, but I think this would be one time when you maight want to consider minimizing it. Attached is a rough crop of the above, for your consideration.

Nice shot and presume you are glad you didn't have to use a 50mm to get it tight! ;) :D :D
