Default Clay and Bone Inlay Floor Detail

Detail of floor in Michoacán, México. The clay tile is used with cattle bones to make beautiful designs, it is very common to find this in old houses.

I like the deep rich tones and hues of red and gray...the symmetrical diamond pattern makes it for me...well composed and executed Lady Mirenchu...If I understand you correctly; there are some houses today with this type of floor, or decoration piece for the wall?

Yes, Gus...this is the kind of floor that a lot of old houses will have in Michoacán. As you can see, they use the cattle bones, vertebras, etc. to make the designs. They floors are beautiful...

Hmmm... yes!!! I guess that is why they wear "huaraches" a Mexican sandal that traditionally is made from a leather weave and a recycled tire sole! With that kind of sandals you can walk on anything!!!
