Hello all... These american white pelicans winter here in Dallas at a local lake. Every time I visit with them they show me something different in terms of behavior. On this day after landing they would take a couple of good dunks... dipping thier heads below the water as any water bird does. Afterwards however they would start flapping thier wings and slapping the water quite vigorously... Lots of water and lots of noise. This appeard to be some kind of grooming behavior... If someone knows for sure I'd love to hear more about it.

I really like this image. Shutter speed is perfect in showing water droplets and wing feathers. Good details too. Very very nice job.

I like the action and pose. It's just a bit tight in the frame for my taste and maybe a bit more sharpening.

Very nice action image. You did well with the exposure. However I would like to see a hair lighter.
