Hi, I couldn't do anything about the horizon problem, but I think converting to BW gives a more dramatic look. I did some sharpening and dodge/burning to enhance some areas. A sight cropping also helped bring the horse into a more important position, I think.

Fully agree Hazel Does have a good feel with the conversion Would try lightening the underside of the horse and first row of bushes.

Could also try tweaking the density of the middle and back row of trees Sort of like the front lighter than the back side !!! I like it a lot !!

Hi Hazel. I do like the monochrome version and wonder what you might be able to do with a "hybrid" version - maybe have the horse and grass in color and the rest in b&w? Could be interesting and make a stronger statement. Just an idea...

Hazel, very nice! Works well as a B&W. Personally I think it could use some more contrast to make it even more dramatic.

I like the monochrome rendition Hazel...I would increase the contrast just a tad...agree with Mr. Forns on lightening up certain areas of the image...good show...looking forward to your next one...
