Beautiful bird. I like how the perch sort of looks like the ruffled feathers. Sharpness and exposure look good. The pose and eye contact are excellent. I would desat the yellows a little to try and get a bit more feather detail, and I'd also darken the perch. It looks like you did a little clone work around the perch; I might clean that up.

Lovely bird. I agree with Doug's comments - it actually seems to be the red channel that is clipping badly within the yellows. Tidying up the perch cloning and maybe removing the pale area upper right corner would improve things. I really like the yellow tones in the BG. Maybe a little more room on the left to decentre the bird.

Good exposure on the blacks, and nice pose. Ditto Doug and Tony. You would have more detail in the head if the yellows weren't blown. There is also something in the upper right corner that is a bit distracting.

    Keep them coming!

Good-looking bird, nice pose and BG. Aside from desaturating the yellows I would give it more room at the bottom and tone down the perch. Keep them coming!

I really like the ruffled feathers and the beautiful blacks. A tough bird to expose properly. Thanks for introducing me to a new bird.
