    I photographed this Cattle Egret landing on a Rhino close to my home in Pretoria South Africa. 40D, 1/1000, f8, ISO 400.

    Its a beautiful picture, nicely captured.
    I don't have any issues with the shadow but if I would leave more space to the left as thats the part which is lit and draws viewer attention.

    I find the brown oof thing in the bottom a bit distracting, but other than that, the image is outstanding, great pose, light, exposyre, BG, and colors! Congratulations!

    Thx for commenting all. The brown oof thing at the bottom is actually the rhino on which it is about to lands back. I decided to blur it more but maybe i should have left it a bit sharper to tell the story.

    I like the light, pose and feather details, Stephen. If the rhino is sharp enough to show skin texture I think that would add to the image - might remove the whitewash splotches from it though.
