    I've seen alot of birds in Chinese watercolors so I thought I would use this image. I know it has some flaws (head position and merges) but I like the look of it. I applied a softer look to the birds.

    Very nice Dave! The birds looks good together. Your chop/calligraphy looks really good. I haven't often seen egrets/birds alone in Chinese art, (theirs usually some environmental elements included - reeds, lily pad, bamboo hanging into the scene, etc.) but this is nice!

    like this combo, but IMO need some ccw rotation......it is tilted

    Sorry,,,don't see the tilt... If I ran this CCW the cattle egret would be facing downwards.
