    Egyptian Vulture




    My first real outing with this new lens of mine and my first post here on BPN! :)

    not sure why the thumbnail looks entirely black!! :(

    Details:

    Aperture: F9
    ISO: 400
    Shutter Speed: 1/200 sec.
    Camera: Canon 40D
    Lens: Canon 100-400IS L

    Welcome to BPN, Aditya! Very nice first post and I'm not sure either why there is no thumbnail. I like the pose, details and eye contact and might put the bird a bit higher in the frame. Keep them coming!

    Welcome, Aditya. I love the rock textures and colour palette in you image. Angled head of the vulture adds interest to the composition. Looking forward to more images from you.
    Regarding the thumbnail - I'm not quite sure. Your image is well above the BPN 200KB limit at 500KB and seems to be imbedded in your post rather than as a link to where it is hosted.

    Aditya i just wished the bottom perch base could be little smoother rest seems fine to me.
