    Default Red-knobbed Coot fight

A particularly aggressive species, Coots spend a lot of time fighting to determine social hierarchy.

Coots at what they do best. Both well exposed, sharp, ( for the relatively slow ss ) and well timed for the action. I like the show of the tongue from the guy on the right. Well captured Dave.

Great interaction - some real Coot attitude here, Dave. Desaturating the clipped red a bit brings back some detail and selecting the whites with a colour range and copying to a layer with linear burn blend brings some more detail into the beaks.
