    Jim:

Your bird is sharp, well exposed, nice angle.

I find the OOF foreground mildly distracting, and think toning down the brightness a little would help.
I would also remove the extra tiny catchlight.

    Thanks for sharing.

The thumb does not do this image justice. The bird is tack sharp and the colors are super. I might consider cropping the bottom off to the top of the OOF rock on the left; then, as Randy suggested, toning down the remaining OOF rock that is left.

Lovely low angle, and I like how you have included him in his enviroment. Well exposed with good detail, but I feel this is actually oversharpened a tad.

I like the setting and the OOF rocks in the foreground are not distracting in my opinion. If at all, I would crop a tiny bit off the bottom. I agree regarding less sharpening and would remove the lower catchlight.

-Cut back on the sharpening a hair (must be my eyes as the original looked OK on my screen?)

-Removed the 2nd naturally occuring catch light (no flash was used)

    -Cropped the bottom a hair

-Dropped the luminousity on the OOF forground rocks a bit as well.

    How does the rework look?

    Jim:

I like it. I suspect the extra catchlight was a reflection off the water.
