Mike....Here are a couple of the images I was telling you about. After looking over the web I don't think they are alligators, but maybe some kind of lizard.
Hey AJ, current rules at BPN limit us to one image (for thumbnail generation in the other galleries). I agree that it is a lizard of some type and not an alligator. For their sheer commonness, I would suggest an Anolis species, but I'm not sure it looks quite right. Interesting grackle image!

Yes indeed, as Judd mentioned it is an Anole, a common lizard found all around Gatorland. It's a common food source for many of the birds within the Rookery, including Egrets, Herons, and the Grackles you have portrayed above. Looks like momma is feeding her almost grown baby girl a lizard lunch! Thanks for sharing...
