    Hanging around my yard recently. Loves the birdseed.

    D300, Tamron 200-500mm. at 500mm, tripod, 1/800, f/7.1, ISO 640, pattern metering, EV-0.3. No flash.

    These guys have a high cuteness factor, Richard - and I have several in my yard that I need to work on. I like the pose though the whites around the eyes look hot on my monitor. The background is busy and could use some noise reduction. Because these guys are so attracted to birdseed and can become quite tame, you could readily set up a feeder situation with some nice sticks/logs against a clean background and photograph them all summer, if you wish. :)

    I agree with Steve. You could do some recovery of the whites as well as noise reduction. Thanks for sharing.
