Laying on the ground and waiting for some birds to pass by, this one gave me the honor to put him on my hard drive. For a perfect photograph it was better to have a little bid higher position bud there was no more time so I decided to take it anyway;)

I hope you’ll enjoy the photograph and critics are always welcome.

I don't know if I would go as far as Fabs here, Alexander - but only because you have had a lot of excellent posts on this forum. :) This is another. I agree about the simplicity of the comp. The bird has a nice pose and head angle and the flowers add interest and balance the comp. I would be tempted to crop a little off the top and bottom.

Really good Alexander. I love the balance between OOF and sharp areas in the frame. The wagtail seems to have a yellowish cast that I would try to remove selectively. The flowers are a real bonus. From a compositional point of view the bird is a bit centered on the frame IMO and with such a low shooting angle and fantastic OOF areas I would go for a compoistion with more room at the left. Very, very good job!

I echoe what Steve said about cropping a bit from the top and the bottom.

A lovely shot, the OOF area's do not bother me and I find the flowers a real bonus. Is there a slight white balance issue or is this representative of the light at the time? Eitehr way, its a winner in my books!

The momentum of shooting this photograph was at the verry late afternoon sunligth so the yellow glow is because of that:o
