I owned a motorcycle back in college and had to sell it right before I moved from Los Angeles to Cincinnati for medical school. I've wanted a bike ever since, but waited until my kids were pretty well grown up before getting another one. I bought this in January. It's a Star Roadliner Midnight with an 1854cc engine, and it's a lot of fun to ride!

Nice ride Doug! Looks real comfy for the long miles. I think we have the start of the first BPN motorcycle rally! :D

To be honest, I was a little nervous about buying a bike with such a big engine after not riding for over 20 years. I found that the engine was big but not overwhelming. The bike handles nicely. Overall, couldn't be happier.

Cool Doug! Be safe! I can't wait to see you with your handheld 500f4 over the handlebars:D. Are you and Kristin starting a gang now? She'd be up for some good old fashion pillaging:D:D:eek::eek:

I forgot to add that my girlfriend was the person who really lit a fire under my butt to get a motorcycle. She'll be posting a photo of her bike a little later.

Hey guys, I really like this with everyone coming out to share their rides. Doug, I have never been a low rider like yours but perhaps one day. I am sure you can get really comfy on those long cruise rides in the US. Thanks for showing!

I'm surprised that you bought a black ride Doug? Doesn't Canon make a bike? This looks like a Nikon:D:D

I can imaging how the engine sounds...

You must be a big guy since this toy requires a big rider. Be careful!

Cool ride, Doug. I have had a bike since age 13 and made a point of never being without one because I realised I would be able to justify getting one again. This has meant older bikes kept for longer but has been great - must post some photos.
