I did a few layer masks and applied color-efex to tone down the colors, added a texture to the BG. I hope my sig w/ chop in the oval is ok.

nice, like in an oriental garden
Denise, a Tiger resting at a Budhist temple deep in China! Cool! The oval chop is great! I think that you can use any shape that you like for the chop, but it should be RED! :D
Nice image. Have to go back there again. We use to be members, but moved another 1/2 hour north so we haven't been back for a while. But I liked the Tiger display there, makes for a nice Oriental theme backdrop.
I like the toned down look to this, you did a really nice job with this.
Very nice, Denise. Love the tiger's posture. The color makes it look eternal.
Dan, Let me see if I've got this right-since I put my red chop in an oval with my name-that now becomes my entire chop-so it should all be red when it's enclosed together? This is a bit tough to get right, but well worth it I think because the images look so much more authentic after your adjustments have been made. Thanks for taking the time to help us all!!!:)
Thanks everyone else for your comments and support!!

Yes Denise, this is what I meant, all red. Looks great! BTW, often you will see more than one chop on a piece, placed apart from each other or together, one containing the artists name and another containing a poem or inspirational message. The artist can use two different type chops for this, one small, one large or one oval and one rectangle, etc, etc, Yin and Yang! On a piece the size of yours here, you could easily do this!
Dan, Thanks again for the guidance!!!
