    Default Nuthatch on the Suet

    On my lunch break I frequent a feeder near work , i don't usually photograph birds on feeders preferring to get them on the many nice perches available there , when this guy landed atop the suet basket I leaned back 4 inches so that I could focus on him and fired away , I really liked the detail and the pose ,,, 20 D w/ 200 F/2.8L , F/8.0 @ 1/250 sec , ISO 400 , Ev Comp 0.33

    What a fantastic lunch break. I couldn't have resisted this one either. The pose is a classic nuthatch and the detail is terrific. I'd sure be back with some perches to get a bird this nice.....and one that I don't have.
