Purple Martin

Martins are raising their babies and making lots of trips for feeding. Good time for flight images, this one is from Robert's is Here in Florida City. All you need is a good sun angle and strong wind to have a chance. With little wind there is not much pattern to the flight.

I think I should target the female purple martins next time. The male ones I found that the belly side usually comes out pretty dark.

Hi Desmond You need about perfect light for the males but they do look pretty !! Btw my best have been using fill flash but you need to lower the shutter speed for range !! Its all compromises !!!
